I'm interested in capturing the innocence of the relationship between them. I'm particularly interested in 'hyper-cute' and 'kitsch' imagery. I've been exploring your paintings for artist research & to put my work into some kind of context. I was wondering what it is about animals that intrigues you enough to include them in your compositions? Thanks, Amy
That’s great that you’re doing research about your subject matter. I paint animals simply because I love them and feel we are lucky enough to share the Earth with them. They’ve been around longer, and each one of them, I feel, is so unique - each with a personality. I spend so much time alone as an illustrator and my two animals keep me company everyday. I’m sure that plays a part in why I am drawn to painting them. :)

Acrylic on Board! :)

HI! Thank you so much :) I don’t work lifesize that often, because I never plan paintings, I change colors over and over again, and painting lifesize is so time and paint consuming. Maybe I should plan better!
